However, to ensure that your pieces continue to dazzle, it is important to follow a few basic care guidelines. With the right care, your jewellery can accompany you throughout your life, always as beautiful as it was on the first day.

HOW TO WEAR YOUR JEWELLERY

To keep your jewellery in the best possible condition, we recommend removing it before taking part in activities that could expose it to damage. Products such as perfumes, lotions, hairsprays and sunscreens contain chemicals that may react with gold and other materials, affecting their shine and durability. For this reason, it is advisable for your jewellery to be the last thing you put on when leaving home and the first thing you take off when you return.

Although our jewellery is durable and 100% waterproof, we recommend avoiding prolonged use in aquatic environments, such as swimming pools or the sea, especially because of chlorine and salt, which may affect its shine over time.

JEWELLERY CLEANING

Keeping your jewellery clean is essential to preserving its splendour. To clean your pieces, use a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dirt or oils that may build up with daily wear. Avoid using abrasive products, hard brushes or any product containing harsh chemicals.

For a deeper clean, you can use warm water with mild soap. Soak the jewellery, gently clean it with a soft cloth or a soft-bristled brush, rinse it thoroughly and dry it completely before storing it.

PROPER STORAGE

Proper storage is essential to protect your jewellery from scratches, oxidation and other damage. We recommend storing each piece separately in a closed jewellery box or in the Ahlo pouch provided with the pieces. Avoid storing them in humid places, such as the bathroom, to prevent oxidation. Exposure to air can promote the oxidation of metals, and prolonged humidity can affect the 18K gold coating.

Our 18k PVD gold-plated jewellery is designed to last, but careful handling is always important. Although it is durable, we recommend avoiding impacts or excessive tension that could deform or damage the pieces.
